I have traveled a lot in my life. I grew up in Stuttgart and Hamburg, later I lived in Tübingen, Marburg, Wiesbaden and for several years in the far north and the deep south of the USA. In addition to studying engineering, I studied art at a university in the USA and at various independent German art schools.

As a nature lover, I have always been fascinated by the beauty and uniqueness of plants, animals and special places - worldwide. Therefore, these are the main motifs of my colorful paintings in watercolor or oil. With them, I want to take the viewer away from reality for a short moment and share in my joy about these motifs.

Especially in today's world, it is important - in addition to being aware of dramatic developments and fates - to also keep an eye on the positive aspects. This makes us aware of them and makes it all the clearer that they are worth protecting.

I currently live in Gerlingen with my husband, my 2 sons, 3 cats and 25 goldfish.
